Annie Lois (Hill) Ferguson

Annie Lois Hill Ferguson, age 81, of Walnut Cove, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at WFU Baptist Medical Center.

She was born on January 6, 1936 in Stokes County, NC to the late Samuel Jackson Hill and Gladys Smith Hill.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by a son, Michael (Wanda) Tilley; a daughter, Kathy Slate; a brother, Jay (Phoebe) Hill; two sisters, Joy Dowell and Jackie Mabe; four grandchildren, Shannon (Michael) Coker, Christopher (Carolyn) Barton, Bobby Tilley, and Shane (Gabrielle) Slate; eight great-grandchildren, Austin Tilley, Garrett Coker, Jesse Coker, Justin Barton, Jami Tilley, Isabella Tilley, Alia Slate, and Evan Slate; and one great-great-grandchild, Chase Barton.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ken Ferguson and a brother, William Hill.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ken Ferguson and Rev. Gary Storms.

Interment will follow in the East Family Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
