Ms. Frankie Lynn Inman Bobbitt, lovingly known since birth as “Bunny,” 67, passed away peacefully, September, 15, 2017, at her home, 149 Shoals Road. Bunny was born June 28, 1950, in Surry County, to the late William Curtis and Lena Mae Miller Inman.

 

A faithful member of Friendly Chapel Church, Bunny spent many years working with Ford Motor Co. throughout central NC and she had a lifelong love of vintage cars, country music and the Southern charms of life. Bunny loved the Lord and she often encouraged all she knew with her favorite verse, “…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed…nothing is impossible for you,” Matthew 17:20.

 

Bunny is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, John Travis and Beverly Shelton; Kane and Charity Shelton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tony and Jenille Shelton Hess; a sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Lena Gayle Williams; and six grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Friendly Chapel Church, with Bro. Don Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm, with services and burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family wishes to express gratitude for the love and compassion shown by her caregivers and extended network of friends in the Pilot Mountain community. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Friendly Chapel Church, 228 Friendly Chapel Church Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain is serving the family.
