Carolyn (Shell) Brown
September 13, 1943 ~ March 30, 2016 (age 72) 72 Years OldCarolyn Shell Brown, age 72, died peacefully at Woltz Hospice Home on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 after a five month battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ronald F. Brown; one daughter, Kathy Dean Hunter Jackson and husband, Mike; one son, Scotty Hunter;; two brothers, Jim Shell and Marvin Shell; four grandchildren, James Broome, Amy Flinchum, Michelle Broome, and Scotty Hunter, Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren, Ashley Broome, Vincent White, Jr., Olivia White, Autumn White, Morgan Flinchum, Jacob Flinchum, Elijah Flinchum, and Zoey Flinchum.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her son, Danny Lee Truell Brown.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s witnesses on April 26, 1997. Serving her God Jehovah faithfully until her death, she had full faith of the resurrection promise as recorded in John 5:28, 29.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Skyline Memorial Gardens at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Langdon officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors at Woltz Hospice Home for the care that was given and the love and support to the family.
