Carolyn Kaye (Branch) Thore

Carolyn Kaye Branch Thore, age 66, of King, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016.

She was born on April 25, 1949 in Surry County, NC to Norman Branch and Nonnie Beck Branch Jones Carter.

Mrs. Thore is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Lindsay) Ashburn; her son, Danny (Lisa) Thore; a sister, Sandra Queen; and five grandchildren, Matthew Ashburn, Emily Ashburn, Jennifer Thore, Brandon Heath, and Ashley Heath.

Mrs. Thore was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Thore and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Brandon Heath and Rawley Haynes, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
