February 12, 1924 ~ September 19, 2016 (age 92) 92 Years OldClara Lee Whitaker, age 92, of Greenville, NC, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Oak Haven Assisted Living.
She was born on February 12, 1924 in Surry County, NC to the late George E Whitaker and Leila Venable Whitaker
Mrs. Whitaker is survived by two granddaughters, Brigette (Mike) Best and Lynnette (Patrick) Camus; four great-grandchildren, Kyle Best, Skyler Best, Elodie Camus, and Estelle Camus; and one sister, Nelda Hylton.
She was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Linda S McDaniel.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. with a graveside service following in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Dixon officiating.
