Dale Ray Ashburn, age 55, of Winston Salem, NC, passed away on July 7, 2015 at WFU Baptist Medical Center.
He was born on June 8, 1960 in Surry County, NC to the late Brady Ousburn Ashburn and Etta Elizabeth Tilley Ashburn.
Mr. Ashburn is survived by one brother, Timothy Gray Ashburn; five sisters, Ruby Wilson, Linda Murray, Bonnie Butcher, Judy Burchette and Edith Collins.
He was predeceased by his parents; six brothers, Paul Ashburn, Jimmy Nelson Ashburn, Clifton Ashburn, Kenneth Ashburn, Roger Ashburn and Gurney Thomas Ashburn.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M with Pastor John T. Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
