Dean Russell Taylor

Dean Russell Taylor, age 73, of Ararat, NC, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017, in his home.

He was born on January 6, 1944 in Surry County, NC to the late Herbert Taylor and Thelma Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his loving wife, Imogene Taylor; a son, Michael (Kimberly) Taylor; a daughter, Tanya (Lee) Taylor Elliott; three sisters, Sheila (Roger) Wright, Sandra (Jimmy) Jessup, and Midgie Atkins; six grandchildren, Aaron Taylor, Amber Taylor, Brycen Elliott, Zane Elliott, Adam Hamdan, and Andrew Hamdan; and three great-grandchildren, Braleigh Grace Taylor, Maggie Payton Taylor, and Virginia Rhea Hamdan.

He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Larry Taylor; and a sister, Betty Taylor.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M with Pastor Barry O’Neal and Evangelist Dale Riddle officiating.

Interment will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
