Dorothy (Ayers) Jester
May 16, 1936 ~ February 10, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years OldDorothy Ayers Jester, age 80, of Surry County, NC, passed away on February 10, 2017 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 16, 1936 in Surry County, NC to the late Johnny Oscar Ayers and Vallie Edwards Ayers.
Mrs. Jester is survived by her son, Bobby Vann Jester and wife, Kimberly; her daughter, Lisa Jester Overby and husband, Doyle; three grandchildren, Haylee Samantha Mitchell and husband, Corey, Katelyn Overby, and Wesley Overby; one great-grandson, Lane Xavier Mitchell with another great-grandchild on the way; two sisters, Raenelle Sisk and Alene Craddock; and several nieces and nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bobby Joe Jester; two brothers, Leroy Ayers and Hoyt Ayers; and one sister, Mabel Hicks.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Mount Zion United Methodist Church at 2 P.M. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
