Evon (Pack) Lawson

Evon Pack Lawson, age 76, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on May 27, 1939 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Fred Lee Pack and Essie Octavia Lambert Pack.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by her three sons, Gurine Franklin Lawson, Jr. and wife, Karen, Gilmer Ray Lawson and Lisa, Ricky Dean Lawson and wife, Tonya; two daughters, Sandra Kaye Davis and husband, Earl, Betty Jean Hicks and husband, Bryan; one brother, Leon Pack and wife, Jean; six sisters, Brenda Wagner and husband, Mac, Carla Sue Edwards, Sylvia Gwyn and husband, Junior, Jo Ann Jones and husband, Wayne, Barbara Cromer and husband, Henry, Letty Edwards and husband, Bruce; thirteen grandchildren, Anthony Lawson (Bubba), Casey Cockerham, Gilmer Lawson, Jr. (RJ), Hannah Lawson, Eden Vickers, Evelyn Wells (Sissy), Anthony Goins, Amber Lawson, Autumn Lawson (Doodle), Dustin Lawson, Austin Hicks, Tamara Lawson, Kristin Hicks; six great-grandchildren, Shawn Cockerham, Addison Goins, Hunter Lawson, Kayden Lawson, Lucas Vickers, Paisley Chrismon.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Gurine Franklin Lawson; three sisters, Shirlene Poindexter, Vernice Edwards, Betty Edwards; one brother, Vernon Pack.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Tru-Way Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev Darrell Price officiating.  Internment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 1, 2016 at Tru-Way Baptist Church from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
