Ida Marie Taylor

Ida Marie Taylor, age 85, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living.

She was born on September 27, 1930 in Surry County, NC to the late Luther Green Taylor and Martha Alice Cook Taylor.

Marie was a member of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.  She was retired from the Surry County School System/Child Nutrition.

Ms. Taylor is survived by one sister, Inez Taylor; two sisters-in-law, Rosaella Taylor, Linda Taylor; one niece, Sally Taylor; two nephews, Rodney Taylor and wife, Rhonda, Travis Taylor and wife, Carrie; two great nieces, Landri Taylor, Rhegan Taylor; two great nephews, Ryland Taylor, Pryce Taylor.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Orville Taylor, Paul Taylor and infant sister.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Doug Brinkley officiating.  Interment will follow at Simmons Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Twelve Oaks for their compassionate and loving care of Marie during her extended years of stay.
