Irene Johnson Lynch age 83, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015, at her home.
She was born on December 13, 1931 in Surry County to the late Coley Johnson and Flora Lynch Johnson.
Mrs. Lynch is survived by her son, Mike Lynch and wife, Jane; three daughters, Barbara Redman and husband, Eddie, Sandra East and husband, Harvey, Robin Lynch-Bennett and husband, Doug; one brother, Bill Johnson and wife, Geneieve; one sister, Elizabeth Smith; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Brockley G. Lynch; two infant brothers; sister, Ruby Lynch; granddaughter, Brandy Althea Lynch; grandson’s wife, Candace Redman.
Graveside service will be conducted on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Westfield Friends Meeting Church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Darrell Price, Rev. Ricky Rogers and Rev. Doug Bennett officiating. Internment will follow at Westfield Friends Meeting Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Cox-Needham Funeral Home on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
