Jerry Douglas Venable
August 11, 1945 ~ May 16, 2016 (age 70) 70 Years OldJerry Douglas Venable, age 70, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home.
He was born on August 11, 1945 in Guilford County, NC to the late George Columbus Venable and Mallie Cox Venable.
Mr. Venable is survived by his wife, Katie Stone Venable; his son Ricky Venable and wife, Christa of Roswell, Georgia; his mother-in-law, Ida H. Stone of Dobson, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Sidney Lanier and Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Interment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
