Kenneth Avery Marshall

Our sweet boy, Kenneth Avery Marshall, passed away December 22, 2017. He blessed his father very much by making his grand entrance to our lives on Fathers Day June 15, 1997. What a gift from Heaven he was. His death has been shocking and very hard to understand. But our Heavenly Father had been watching and waiting for this young man; He knew he could make him whole again. He is now at peace with his Heavenly Father. He is now getting the acceptance and love he never could seem to get from this cruel world. Avery had many interests and loved sports especially baseball (Red Sox) and basketball. He was an animal lover and will be missed by Murray his loyal companion.

 Avery was preceded in death by his uncle, Ken Boyles Marshall for whom he was named; Memaw and Pa, (Betty and Bill Jones,); his great-grandparents, Herbert Fulton Marshall and Dorthy Newsome Marshall; and grandparents, Pat and Belmont Marshall. He is survived by his loving parents, Barry and Kelli Marshall; his loving brother, Benjamin Austin; loving grandparents, Susan and Eddie Marshall and lots of extended family who loved him dearly.

 A celebration of Avery’s life will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Mount Zion UMC. Visitation will be from noon-2:00 P.M. and the service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with graveside service following at Mount Zion UMC Cemetery.
