Larry Scott Frye

Larry Scott Frye, age 74, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital.

He was born on September 24, 1942 in Surry County, NC to the late Arthur Joel Frye and Dora Betty Scott Frye.

Mr. Frye is survived by his loving wife, Diane Hooker Frye; and his son, Stephen Hooker.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Sandra Mills; and a special aunt, Gracie Nunn.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M with Rev. Randy Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Peoples Church Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
