Laura Lee Durham Shelton, age 91, of Westfield, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home.
She was born on February 7, 1926 in Stokes County, NC to the late Rosi Lee Durham and Carrie Dunman Durham.
Mrs. Shelton is survived by four sons, Kelly (Hazel) Shelton, Carl (Teresa) Shelton, Marcus (Robin) Shelton, and Kimberly (Gail) Shelton; two sisters, Lolene (Marion) Vaden and Clara Priola; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Carl Walter Shelton; three brothers, Reid Durham, Frank Durham, and Ralph Durham; and two sisters, Mozelle Cook and Ruby Shelton.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M. with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
