Linda Marie Nameth

Linda Nameth Wayne, 60, of Belews Creek, NC passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016.

Born in Mount Carmel, PA on December 12, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Gloria (Battista) Nameth.

Linda was a 1973 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and a 1977 graduate of Clarion State College with a degree in Mathematics. She later obtained her master’s degree in Finance from St. Joseph’s University.

On November 2, 1992 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, she married Terry Wayne of Bernville, PA who survives. They resided in Reading, PA until 1999 before relocating to Greensboro, NC.

Linda was employed as a software programmer, developer, and website designer for companies in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

In addition to her husband, Terry, she is survived by a sister, Suzanne, of Mount Carmel and a brother, Michael, of Kingston, PA; father-in-law, Arthur and Betty Wayne, of Wyomissing, PA. In addition, Linda will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and her beloved cats, Pierre and Dominique.

Linda was a kind, gentle, and thoughtful person who would do anything for anyone.

Interment was private at the convenience of the family. There will be a memorial mass in her honor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mount Carmel, PA at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to Shriners Hospital for Children.
