Madelen C. Fulk

Madelen C. Fulk, age 85, of King, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home.

She was born on April 12, 1931 in Stokes County, NC to the late Robert David Covington and Zettie Bowen Covington.

Mrs. Fulk is survived by two sons, Donald Reid Fulk and wife, Sylvia and David Lee Fulk and wife, Brenda; three daughters, Wanda Kelly and special friend, Jimmy Rodgers, Elizabeth (Libby) Venable and husband, Charles, and Rebecca (Becky) Bottoms and husband, Michael; one sister, Ruth Dunkley; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Percy Reid Fulk; one brother, Dennis Covington; and one sister, Kathleen Greene.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church at 1 P.M with Pastor Evelyn Lemons and Pastor J. Dwight Cartner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
