Margaret Louise (Adkins) Queen

Margaret Louise Adkins Queen, age 80, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on November 4, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, NC.

She was born on April 9, 1935 in Stokes County, NC to the late Rural Oscar Adkins and Pink Troy Joyce.

Mrs. Queen is survived by her husband of 18 years, Wade Lee Queen; three sons, Johnny Newman and wife, Patsy, Jerry Leroy Newman, Robert Thomas Newman; two daughters, Helen Blevins and husband, Jerry, Lorrie Finney; one sister, Ruth Love Pearlie Haden; eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; special grandsons, Jonathan Dalton and Jason Finney.

She was predeceased by her parents; son, Thomas Wayne Newman; grandson, Jason Finney; eight sisters, Nancy Beck, Lillian Crotts, Sally Moser, Luray Ashburn, Mary Adkins, Mayola Lawson, Lucy Adkins, Katie Freemond; six brothers, Junior Adkins, Jack Adkins, Clarence Adkins, Dallas Adkins, Herman Adkins, Franklin Adkins; daughter-in-law, Judy Butcher Newman.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Don Collins officiating.  Interment will follow at New Venture Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M.

Floral tributes will be accepted, or memorials may be given to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC  27017.
