Mattie Doris (Bryant) Marion

Doris Bryant Marion, age 89, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on June 23, 2015 at her home.

She was born on November 19, 1925 in Surry County, NC to the late Samuel Wilber Bryant and Myrtle Lawrence Bryant.

Mrs. Marion is survived by two daughters, Polly Wall and Susie (Rick) Davis; a son, Benny Marion; three grandchildren, Sara Davis (Bobby Hall), John (Katie) Davis, and James (Kerri) Davis; a sister, Peggy Woodson; and two brothers, Randall Bryant and Roger Bryant.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Paul “Jack” Marion; her parents; a brother, Alton Bryant; two sisters, Gladys Brooks and Nellie Moore; and a son-in-law, Virgil Wall.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Fairview United Methodist Church at 6:00 P.M with Rev. Bill Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview United Methodist church cemetery.
 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service at Fairview United Methodist Church.
