Patsy Lou Dorsey

Patsy Lou Dorsey, age 77, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on February 5, 2017 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

She was born on April 15, 1939 in Fayette County, WV to the late Wilmer Fridley and Mary Darlington.

Mrs. Dorsey is survived by her loving husband, Gary Dorsey; two sons, Steven (Sherry) Wriston of Pinnacle, NC and Jerry (Michelle) Wriston of Greenville, PA; four daughters, Nancy Johnston of Kincaid, WV, Rita (James) Craigo of Pinnacle, NC, Kimberly (Michael) Stover of Robson, WV, and Rebecca Damron of Pinnacle, NC; one brother, Delmas (Fay) Fridley of Stark, FL; six sisters, Zelma McCann of West Mansfield, OH, Sharon (Eddie) Cahoon of Huntsville, AL, Janet (Frankie) Dickerson of Mooresville, NC, Joetta (Steve) Mabe of Texas, Bonnie Lawton of Huntsville, AL, and Marlene Bowen of Huntsville, AL; one son-in-law, Wilburn “Jug” Johnston of Kincaid, WV; one brother-in-law, Gene (Carol) Dorsey of Jacksonville, NC; twenty grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilmer Fridley and Mary Darlington; one daughter, Debra Johnston; one son, Gilbert Ray Wriston Jr.; two brothers, Gene Fridley and Arnold Fridley; and one sister, Mary Daddysman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain from 6 P.M to 8 P.M. 

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 3 P.M. at Page Baptist Church in Page, West Virginia with Pastor Margaret Hayden officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. 

Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Johnson Branch, West Virginia.
