Patsy Marie (Shepard) Sands

Patsy Marie Shepard Sands, age 81, of Germanton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on July 5, 1936 in Pulaski, VA to the late Burks Lee Shepard and Alma Josephine Riddle Sheppard.

Mrs. Sands is survived by two sons, Michael (Wanda) Sands and Scott (Debbie) Sands; two sisters, Bobbi Kiester, and Jacki Ward; one brother, Frankie (Coleen) Shepard; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Oliver Lee Sands; two sisters, Betty Martin and Bonnie Bullard; and a brother, Jerry Shepard.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Quaker Gap Baptist Church at 2 P.M. with Rev. Gerald Jones and Dr. Jack Darida officiating.

Interment will follow in Quaker Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Quaker Gap Baptist Church.
