Peggy Pauline (O'Neal) Smitherman

Peggy O’Neal Smitherman, age 80, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on November 14, 2016.

She was born on May 25, 1936 in Surry County, NC to the late Walter Carlis O’Neal and Lucille Elizabeth Bullington O’Neal.

Mrs. Smitherman is survived by two daughters, Donna Keith and Pamela Smitherman; one sister, Thelma Louise Butcher; two grandchildren, Troi Keith and Nikki Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Savannah Taylor and Easton Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Gray Smitherman and a brother, Carlis O’Neal.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Pinnacle View Baptist Church at 3 P.M with Rev. Ricky Speas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service at Pinnacle View Baptist Church.
