Phillip Lee Lester

Phillip Lee Lester, age 60, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on June 22, 2017.

He was born on April 17, 1957 in Welch, WV to the late Nelson Lester and Effie Cline Lester.

Mr. Lester is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Lester; a daughter, Carolyn Byrd; a grandson, Cody (Kelsey Hodge) Edwards; two great-grandchildren, Kya Edwards and J.D. Edwards; and nine brothers and sisters, Hassel Lester, Clarice (Curtis) Hagerman, Dott Lester, Orville (Delma) Lester, Arland (Carolyn) Lester, Ovella (William) Jennings, Della (Alan) Vinson, Edna (Lowell) Like, and Velma Grubbs.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ott Lester and Claude Lester.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M.

Interment will follow in King Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Philip Lester Funeral Fund at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
