Royce Ellis Sisk, age 82, of King, NC, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

 

He was born on October 21, 1934 in Stokes County, NC to the late James Ellis Sisk and Edith Boyles Sisk. Royce was a member of Hills Presbyterian Church and enjoyed boating, fishing, water skiing, and sports. He was a hard working man, he held many different jobs throughout his life such as driving a truck, farming, owning his own business “Sisk Backhoeing and Ditching”, working at Hanes Hosiery, and working for the City of King Water System.

 

Mr. Sisk is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Williard Sisk; two sister-in-laws, Nadine Williard and Raenell Ayers Sisk; three nieces, Pamela (Randy) Lawson, Teresa (Bradley) Alderman, and Renea (Cogey) Reed; a nephew, Kevin Williard; a great-niece, Lauren Williard; five great-nephews, Zach Williard, William Sisk, Jon Sisk, Benjamin Alderman, and Nathan Alderman; a great-great-nephew, Will Sisk; and a great-great-niece and Kristen Sisk.


In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Reginald Sisk; a sister, Kay Sisk Marshall; three nephews, Ricky Ayers Sisk, Roger Darrell Sisk, and Michael Jackson Williard; a niece, Sherrie Robin Sisk; and two brother-in-laws, John “JD” Williard and Cody Lee Williard.

 

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Hills Presbyterian Church in Pilot Mountain at 4 P.M. with Rev. Amanda Santolla officiating.

 

Interment will follow in Hills Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Pilot Mountain.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M. prior to the service at Hills Presbyterian Church.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hills Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1720, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 or Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
