Shirley Gay York Blevins, age 81, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on September 12, 2015.
She was born on June 18, 1934 in War, WV to the late Stella Brewer.
Mrs. Blevins is survived by three sons, Beno (Debbie) Blevins, Jr., Jeffrey Blevins, and Justin (Temple) Blevins; four daughters, Mona Lisa Tate, Stephanie (Eddie) Wood, Constance Blevins, and Vanessa (Mike) Grubbs; two daughter-in-laws, Susie Blevins and Beverly Blevins; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Beno Blevins; her mother; two sons, Gerald Blevins and Timothy Blevins; one brother, and eight sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Gospel Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M with Pastor John Hylton officiating. Interment will follow at Gospel Baptist Church Cemetery.
