Stacey (Lawson) Gallant

Stacey Lawson Gallant, age 83, of Westfield, NC, passed away on June 12, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital.

She was born on September 12, 1931 in Stokes County to the late Adam Lawson and Eva Rierson Lawson.

Mrs. Gallant is survived by a daughter, Wanda Faye (John) Moore; four sons, Thomas Ray (Brenda) Gallant, James Edward (Lois) Gallant, Donald McKinney (Nancy) Gallant, and Larry Bobby Gallant; three grandchildren, Robbie Gallant, Tina Dunmon, and Sarah Woods; five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Gallant; her parents; three brothers, Tom Lawson, James Lawson, and Edward Lawson; and a sister, Louise Paxton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 15 2015 at Slate Mountain Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M with Rev. Chris McMillian and Rev. Vernon Combs officiating.  Interment will follow at Slate Mountain Baptist Church Cemtery.
 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
