Tommy Dean Brindle, Sr.

Tommy Dean Brindle, Sr., beloved father, grandfather, and companion, age 65, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on May 5, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on January 14, 1952 in Surry County NC to the late Howard and Octavia ‘Tavey’ Brindle. He was a 1970 graduate of Surry Central High School. Tommy was a retired diesel mechanic and long time member of the Teamsters.

Mr. Brindle is survived by his loving companion, Joye Campbell and her children, Kelly (Scott) Berthel and Frank Campbell; a son, Dean Brindle, Jr. and wife, Lisa; a daughter, Allison Rapp; and five grandchildren, Garrett Brindle, Kaiden Brindle, Lauren Brindle, Benjamin Rapp, and Elijah Rapp.

He was predeceased by his parents.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Fairview Baptist Church at 5 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 in Tommy’s memory.
