William Franklin Badgett

William Franklin “Frank” Badgett, age 87, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his home.

He was born on December 20, 1928 in Surry County, NC to the late Bryan Badgett and Ada Gordon Badgett.

Mr. Badgett is survived by two sons, Charles “Sport” Badgett and wife, Chancie and Jim Badgett; as well as four grandchildren, Anderson Badgett, Pennson Badgett, Colby Badgett, and Mattie Badgett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Carol Ballengee Badgett; his parents; one son, Paul Badgett; a brother, Richard Badgett; and a sister, Emily Taylor.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at First United Methodist Church at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tom Hunter officiating. Internment will follow in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church.
