Annie Mae (Beck) Moore

Mrs. Annie Mae Beck Moore, age 81, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on February 17th, 2024, at Rose Tara Plantation of King.

She was born on December 28th, 1942, in Surry County to the late Posie and Bertha Beck.

Mrs. Moore loved attending church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lorie (Justin) Moore, Tammy (Scott) Poteat, Ray (Crystal) Moore, and Brenda (Dwight) Epperson; grandchildren, Brooke Lawson, Brittany Mabe, Andrew Poteat, Shawn Poteat, Jonathan Poteat, Brandon Poteat, Misty Moore, Kandace Moore, Nichole Epperson, and Tammy Epperson, ; Fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara and Thomas, Frances Jackson, and Kay and Steve Thomas; brother, Lonnie Beck.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Moore, Jr.; brothers, James Beck, Jim Beck, and Bud Beck; grandson, Justin Moore.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, at Westfield Friends in Pilot Mountain at 2:00pm with Pastor Linda Anderson and Rev. Wayne Moore will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery after the service.  

Mrs. Moore will lie in state at Westfield Friends in Pilot Mountain from 1pm-2pm on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024.
