Ms. Jettie M. McKinney Frye, of Taylor Road, Westfield, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2024. She spent Easter in Heaven praising the Lord and rejoicing with family.
Jettie was born on August 4th, 1939, to the late Eugene Roscoe McKinney and Mamie Mozelle Dunivant McKinney.
She is survived by a devoted son, Norman Frye, of the home and loving daughter, Rebecca (Matthew) Perdue, who was faithful and dedicated to providing care for their mama. She had four grandchildren, Elijah (Nicole) Perdue, Elisabeth, Mattie, and Micah Perdue; two-great-grandchildren, Brantley, and Kayelynn; one sister, Sylvia M. White and sister-in-laws, Brenda McKinney and Thelma McKinney; and a special little friend, Lucas.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Carl N. Frye; five brothers, Baxter McKinney, Rex McKinney, Tom McKinney, Arnold McKinney, and Doug McKinney; three sisters, June McKinney, Marie McKinney, and Alice Faye McKinney; a niece, Cheryl Martin Beddington and nephew, Wendell McKinney. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Jettie will be laid to rest at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at 2:00pm. Her graveside service will be officiated by Pastor David Allen Grubbs and Pastor Kenny Heath.
The family will receive family and friends at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, and other times at the home of her daughter at 1911 Taylor Road.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Mountain Valley Hospice, for the wonderful care provided to their mother.
Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Mountain Valley Hospice.
