Shirley Greenwood Obituary

Shirley Marshall Greenwood passed away on March 16, 2024 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA following a brief illness.

She was born on February 5, 1936 in Stokes County to the late Howard & Era Marshall.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Jerry (Kathy) Greenwood & Kim (Amanda) Greenwood; three daughters, Angela Greenwood, Annette Greenwood & Audrey Greenwood Simmons; four grandchildren, David (Stacie) Heath, Tyler (Stephanie) Greenwood, Taylor (Clint) Cure & Megan Simmons; & five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greenwood was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Greenwood & son-in-law, David Simmons.

A graveside service for Mrs. Greenwood will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 20th at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Rogers officiating.
