Barbara Jean Frances (Duncan) Jones

Barbara Jean (Frances) Duncan Jones, age 72, of Siloam, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home.

She was born on August 30, 1945 in Carrol County, VA to the late Junior Issac Duncan and Mary Elizabeth Duncan.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her loving husband, Chester Harley Jones; a daughter, Teresa (Charles Christopher) Lawson; two sisters, Maxine Davidson and Wanda Draughn; two brothers, Frank Duncan and Uliss Duncan; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Lawson and Makayla Lawson; and one great-grandchild, Elijah Wyatt Huff.

She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Roy Duncan; and one sister, Kathy Marion.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M. with Rev. Gene Brinkley and Bro. Greg Jenkins officiating.

Interment will follow in the People’s Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
