Bernice Asbury Obituary

Mrs. Bernice Marie Phipps Asbury, age 74, of Rural Hall, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 21, 1944 to the late Arthur and Margaret Childress Phipps.

Mrs. Asbury is loved and missed by her loving children; three daughters; Wanda (Ronnie) Denny, Patricia (Ronnie-Dale) Adkins, and Sharon Bodenhamer (Donnie Blackburn), one sister; Brenda Jones, three grandchildren; Brandy (Matthew) Lawson, Noel Young (Lindsay Sapinhour), and Shailey Bodenhamer (Jeremy Cook), Six great-grandchildren; Canvas Rogers, Travis Priddy, MiKinzie Young, Lee Young, Guage Young and Ayden Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Giles Delanor Asbury, parents; Arthur and Margaret Childress Asbury.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Cox Needham Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Bishop Lartey officiating.

Interment will follow Pinnacle United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday December 14, 2018 from 6 PM. to 8 PM at
