Betty Jean (Smith) Goins
October 20, 1934 ~ May 19, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years OldBetty Jean Smith Goins age 82, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home.
She was born on October 20, 1934 in Surry County, NC to the late Archie and Katie Smith.
Mrs. Goins is survived by her two sons, Mike Goins, David (Debra) Goins; five grandchildren, Shannon Goins, James Goins, Michael Gray Goins, Austin Lane Goins, and Amanda Ellington; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Ellington, Zachary Ellington, Sofia Goins, and Andrew Goins.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Floyd Goins; her parents; two brothers, P.C. Smith and Coy Smith; and a sister, Dorothy Leftwich.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 12 P.M. with Bro. Don Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Hunter-Kader Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
