Claudia Jean (Boyles) Anthony

Mrs. Claudia Jean Boyles Anthony, age 74, of Siloam, NC, passed away on April 7, 2018, at Central Continuing Care. She was born, the youngest of ten children, on March 16,1944, to the late Hubert Albertis Boyles and Minnie Leigh Frances Shinault Boyles.

She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Mrs. Anthony is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, James Foy Anthony; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jackie Lane; sister-in-law, Gladys Boyles; two brothers-in-law, Rex Fulk and Marvin Bledsoe; and twenty-four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Albertis Boyles and Minnie Leigh Frances Shinault Boyles; five sisters, Buena (Mule) Powers, Dorothy Gallimore, Maxie (R.B.) Southern, Polly Fulk, and Jessie Bledsoe; and three brothers, J.C. (Lura) Boyles, Wesley (Ruby) Boyles, and Jerry Boyles.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Pine Hill Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Wesley Boyles, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Pine Hill Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Pine Hill Church.
