Earline Elizabeth (Dykes) Thackston

Earline Elizabeth Dykes Thackston, age 74, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on July 5, 2017 at her home.

She was born on January 4, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to the late John F. Dykes and Gladys Pearl Denton.

Mrs. Thackston is survived by two sons, James (Wendy) Thackston and John Thackston; a daughter, Debra (Mark) Rogers; two sisters, Janice and Martha; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Tristan, Jasmine, John, Jessica, and Sarah; and three great-grandchildren, Izadore, Jacey, and Joseph, IV.

She was predeceased by a loving husband, James Thackston, Sr.; her parents; a grandchild, Joshua ‘Ott’ Thackston; and eight brothers and sisters.

The family is handling services privately.
