Edward Roosevelt White

Edward Roosevelt White, age 94, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on August 6, 2017 at Surry Community Nursing Home.

He was born on July 10, 1923 in Surry County, NC to the late James Everette White and Mattie Pratt White.

Mr. White is survived by a brother, Glenn (Linda) White; a brother-in-law, Howard Ayers; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Irene Ayers.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M. with Rev. Steven Corn officiating.

Interment will follow in the Turkey Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
