Emma Karen (Martin) Shumaker

Karen Martin Shumaker, 63, of Walkertown, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born in Forsyth county, January 22, 1956 to Aubrey and Mary Lou Martin.  She was a member of Northwood's Baptist Church. She was also a graduate of Forsyth Technical College where she received her LPN certificate.

Surviving are; her daughter, Angela Kay Martin of the home; three brothers, Lyn (Cathie) Martin of Westfield, Bill Martin of Winston-Salem, Ronnie (Robin) Martin of Rural-Hall and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in Westfield.  Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jim Thompson.
