Ernest Branagan

 Ernest Branagan, age 75, passed away July 24. 2019, in Blue Ridge Nursing Home, Stuart, VA. Ernest was born January 21, 1944, to the late Keith Branagan and Teresa Golda Waterstraat. He is survived by a daughter, Dixie Lee Branagan Howell and husband, Thomas; two sons, Matthew David Branagan and Joshua Waylon Branagan and wife, Kasey; a sister, Sue Auert; a brother, Craig Branagan and wife Jeanine; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gilda Jo East Branagan and his parents, Keith Branagan and Teresa Golda Waterstraat Branagan. 

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Rock House Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
