Glykeria "Athey" Xiouris

Glykeria “Athey” Athonine Xiouris, age 67, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Winston-Salem Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on November 14, 1949 in Florence County, SC to the late George Archilles Xiouris and Pauline Shelton Xiouris.

Ms. Xiouris worked at North State Telephone in High Point, NC for 25 years. She enjoyed horticulture, hiking, and was an accomplished photographer.

Ms. Xiouris is survived by her aunt, Virginia Hendrix of Winston-Salem, NC and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery at 1 P.M. with Rev. Danny Hall officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
