Gwynneth Ellen (Kiger) Winters
July 26, 1959 ~ June 3, 2017 (age 57) 57 Years OldGwynneth Ellen Kiger Winters, age 57, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur R. Kiger, Jr. and Sybil Ann Trent Kiger.
Gwynneth was the fourth female firefighter for the City of Winston-Salem from 1984-1990.
She became a jet mechanic at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
She was employed by Northwest Airlines and the US Department of Homeland Security.
She is survived by husband, Lowell Andrew, daughter Devin Sprinkle, and grandchildren, Brady and Ansley Snevel of Greensboro, NC.
Affectionately known as “OMA” to grandchildren.
Survived by sister, Stephanie Hill and niece, Mariah Hill of VA. Nieces, Nicole Bauguss of Hendersonville, NC and Tara Bauguss of Richmond, VA.

Gwynneth was a member of Home Moravian Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at Home Moravian Church, Winston-Salem, NC 27101, on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ginny Tobiassen officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
