" I have moved out of the area in 2007 and lost contact with almost everyone ... I knew Ray almost my whole life ... I grew up with him and many people in the Walkertown area ... I knew all of Ray's family ... mother ... sisters ... brothers ... aunts ... uncles ... cousins ... just like an extended family ... I do not take any Winston-Salem papers and happened to run across Ray's passing on a site on internet ... he and I had many good and fun days in those growing up days ... he was always so funny ... could make me laugh so hard with the things he would do ... he was just like a brother to me and still is ... I am going to miss so very much ... he was just an all around good person ... I send prayers out to all at this time of loss " Danehy ( Denny ) Carson Arcadia , North Carolina

Beverly, Frankie just called me today and told me about Ray. I had no clue he was even sick besides his heart attacks. I'm not on Facebook anymore so I'm out of the loop. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Love you!
