James Rodgers Obituary

James Malvin Rodgers, age 74, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, October 5th, 2018.

He was born on November 26, 1943 to the late Malvin Alex Rodgers and Murphy Mabe Rodgers. James was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Rodgers is survived by two sons, Mark (Tammy) Rodgers and Tracy (Heidi) Rodgers; four grandchildren, Carrie Rodgers Thompson, James (Kaela) Rodgers, Cody (Erika) Rodgers and Dustin Rodgers and friend, Olivia Jessup; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Bryson Thompson; and two sisters, Betty (Bruce) White and Irene Rodgers.

He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, JD Rodgers.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 14th at 2:00 pm at Cox-Needham Chapel with Rev. Doug Brinkley officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

Cox-Needham is handling all arrangements.
