John Henry Sturgeon

Mr. John Henry Sturgeon, age 63, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on July 4, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving wife and son.   He was born on August 4, 1954, to Anna Merinda Burris Sturgeon and the late Harold Raymond Sturgeon.

Mr. Sturgeon is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Jean Smith Sturgeon; his son, Ralph Eugene Sturgeon; his mother, Anna Merinda Burris Sturgeon; five sisters, Shirley Banks, Emma Gamble, Donna Stenson, Annabelle Sturgeon, and Pam Sturgeon; five brothers, Bruce Sturgeon, Charlie Sturgeon, David Sturgeon, Harold Sturgeon and James Sturgeon; a sister-in-law, Sandra Bunn and husband, Wayne; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Raymond Sturgeon.

A memorial visitation will be conducted on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
