Joyce Ann (Flinchum) Frye

Joyce Ann Flinchum Frye, age 75, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on August 29, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home.

She was born on May 30, 1942 in Surry County, NC to the late Robert Arthur Flinchum and Winnie Belle Simmons Flinchum.

Ms. Frye is survived by four daughters, Lisa (Brian) Salmon, Kathryn (Kim) Whitehurst, Ashley (Tony) Simerman, and Rena (Jon) Bledsoe; nine grandchildren, Mandy (Ashley) Rollans, Daniel Chilton, Jonathon (Brooke) Lawson, Kristin (Wesley) Wilmoth, Noah Lawson, Lilli Simerman, Claudia Simerman, Rhett Bledsoe, and Ava Bledsoe; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Flinchum and Dalmer Flinchum; and four sisters, Ona Monday, Doris Nelson, June Miller, and Kay Coleman.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Brim’s Grove Baptist Church at 2 P.M. with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
