Lessie Faye (Hayes) Moser

Lessie Faye Hayes Moser, age 95, of King, NC, passed away on April 5, 2017 at Stokes County Nursing Home.

She was born on March 30, 1922 in Alexander County, NC to the late Charlie Hayes and Jennie Carson Hayes.

Mrs. Moser is survived by a son, Chris Moser; a daughter, Carolyn (Joe) Thompson; one grandchild, Angie (Greg) Boles; two great-grandchildren, Erica Boles and Eli Boles; and two sisters, Ethel Stafford and Ruth (Bob) Vaden.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William Robert Moser; three brothers, Ralph Hayes, John Hayes, and James Hayes; and six sisters, her twin sister Jessie Hayes, Pearly Hayes, Carrie Church, Mamie Rutledge, Bertha Moser, and Grace Yates.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 4 P.M. with Pastor Randy Storz officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 9, 2017 prior to the service from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
