Lucy Louise (Brown) Smith

Lucy Louise Brown Smith, age 84, of Westfield, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born on May 11, 1933 in Stokes County, NC to the late Cornelius and Callie Brown.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Jesse East and Jerry (Glenda) East; two daughters, LaHoma (Tony) Kahn and Gloria (Bill) Nelson; a brother, Luther Brown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Homer Smith; three sons, Daniel Julian East, James Matthew East, and Moses Lee East; three brothers, David Brown, Carlis Brown, and Author Brown; and two sisters, Nealy Cardwell and Lillie Jones.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, 1056 Taylor Road, Westfield, NC 27053 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Richard H. Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Faith Baptist Church.
