Mrs. Mary Doris Inman Dawson, age 88, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on June 17, 1930 to John Brady Inman and Tracie Hiatt Inman

Doris was very special to all and will be loved and missed by those closest to her. She leaves cherished memories with her sons, Steve (Anita) Dawson and Dennis Dawson, brothers; Taylor Inman and Douglas Inman, sister; Janis Nichols, five grandchildren; Phillip (Annalise) Dawson, Jeffery, Cooper, Montana, Brooks Dawson, one great-grandchild; Georgiana Dawson

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Dillard Dawson, parents John and Tracie Inman, sisters; Lois Stone, Irene Chilton and Etta Chilton, brother; J.B Inman

A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday April 28, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Simmons Grove Baptist Church with pastor Dennis Ball officiating.

Interment will follow immediately after service at Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday April 28, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Simmons Grove Baptist Church.
