Robert Mitchell Casstevens

Mr. Robert Mitchell Casstevens, age 62, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on May 14, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 13, 1956, to the late Paul Henry Casstevens and Nancy Jane Monday Casstevens.

Mr. Casstevens is survived by his loving wife, Deborah A. Wall Casstevens; two loving sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua Adam (Amy) Casstevens and John Andrew (Beth) Casstevens; three very special grandchildren, Joshua Payton Casstevens, Marissa Alexis Casstevens and AnnaClaire Morgan Casstevens; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis Ann (Philip) Wagoner; four brothers and sisters-in-law Paul Weldon (Lynn) Casstevens, Ronnie Dean (Debbie) Casstevens, Alfred Lee (Sharon) Casstevens, and Harold Gray (Dora) Casstevens; and very special friends, Chad Hemmings and Pastor Hank Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Henry Casstevens and Nancy Jane Monday Casstevens and a sister, Katherine Casstevens.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at New Charity Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Hank Robertson and Bro. Chad Hemmings officiating. Interment will follow in Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at New Charity Baptist Church, 732 White Pines Country Club Road.
