Roland Keith Brown

Roland Keith Brown, age 68, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on September 5, 2017 at WFU Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on January 6, 1949 in Surry County, NC to the late Hubert Franklin Brown and Dora Imogene Hawks Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Tabatha Sumner; a son, Shon (Barbara) Carter; two stepchildren, Gabrielle Boles and Ebin Gillespie; four grand-children, Javen, Paul, Trissity, and Shon Patrick; a brother, Ronald Brown; and a sister, Barbie Holt.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Brown; and a sister, Phyllis Brown Bullins.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with Rev. David O’Neal and Dr. Willy Bryant officiating, with a special singer.

Interment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens with military rites provided by Pilot Mountain VFW Post 9436 and Mount Airy VFW Post 2019.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
